FAQ

Krka questions, answered straight

The short version of everything in the guides — what people actually ask before they go.

Tickets

How much does a Krka ticket cost?

On the park's 2026 price list, an adult ticket for all land sites, Skradinski buk included, costs €40 from June to September (€30 after 15:00), €20 in April, May and October and €7 from November to March. Children under 7 go free; our tickets and trails guide has the full table.

Getting there

Lozovac or Skradin: which entrance should I use?

Lozovac if you drive: parking is free and a park bus takes you down to Skradinski buk. Skradin if you come by bus or boat: the park boat up the canyon takes about 20 minutes. Both are included from 1 April to 31 October; leave by the entrance you came in through.

How do I get to Krka from Split?

It is about 89 km by road to the Lozovac entrance, using the Šibenik exit of the A1. Without a car, regular buses run from Split to Šibenik and Skradin on a seasonal timetable, or a day tour handles the transport; see our guide to getting there.

Swimming

Can you swim at Krka?

Not at Skradinski buk, where swimming has been banned since 2021. The park allows swimming in designated areas at Roški slap, Stinice and Pisak from 1 June to 30 September, at your own risk.

Boats

Is the boat trip to Visovac included in the ticket?

No. The ticket includes only the boat between Skradin and Skradinski buk. The 2-hour excursion to Visovac costs an adult €15 extra in 2026 and is sold only in the park; our boat trips guide compares every route.

Visiting

How long do I need at Skradinski buk?

The park's ticket shop allows 2 hours for the 1,900 m circuit, not counting the bus or boat down. Add 4 hours if you take the excursion boat on to Roški slap and Visovac.

Is Krka open in winter?

Yes, all year, and an adult ticket costs €7 from November to March in 2026. The park bus and boat to Skradinski buk do not run then, so you drive down from Lozovac or walk in from Skradin; from November to February the falls close at 16:00.

Booking

Tour or on my own?

On your own you buy the park ticket, choose an entrance and handle parking or the bus. A tour from Split or Zadar does that for you; check whether the park ticket is included and how long you get at the falls. The tours page compares them.
